You guessed it, we’re…

…rained out for Saturday. You probably knew that by now. If you’re grumpy, you can go back to bed, or go play with something in the basement. We’ll leave you alone until next week. You know you could fix something around the house for once. Make a casserole. When was the last time you made a Bundt cake?

We’re getting close to the end of our season so we may get in one or two more, Saturdays or we could be done. We just don’t know. We normally have a bit of rain at the end of September and then as we get into October, we all sort of show up on that last Saturday all tired out and think, ah f*ck it, we’re done. Then we call it. We love putting on E@RTC, but we do wear out. We never have a big finish where we announce it’s the last one and we all show up and dance. Maybe we should, but it’s hard to say goodbye and we just got use to seeing you fatter after not having a season last year.

For those who like the blog, I keep writing all year. For those of you who hate it, you can stop checking in to see if we’re on or off. There is a lot to write about this time. I’m out at a campground, somewhere near Whispering Crotch, WI and believe me, there is plenty to write about. Everywhere I go, someone has a car story and it’s been a fun trip.
