This could be it…
…for E@RTC. We don’t know yet. We’re on for this Saturday, but next Saturday is as sketchy as the 2 AM swamp donkey at the Braided Fur. It could be a nice Saturday, but right now that next week is doubtful. Don’t confuse it with this Saturday, which looks like a perfect day, so come out and see everyone before it’s too late and you’re feeling like you just got left at the train station holding cheap flowers.
We had a good season and in spite of the later than usual start, we had more Saturdays than we typically have in a season, so it all worked out. It was another great season and we have a lot of people to thank. We’ll get to all that when we call it for the year, and we’re not doing it today. Maybe next week, so stay tuned.
When we began E@RTC in 2009, there were hardly any regular car events outside of maybe once a year. Now there are lots of events happening everywhere. We now have America’s Car Museum and all that they have going on, as well as Avants and others that are doing their thing. We love seeing such a vibrant car community grow, sort of like that thing you left in the fridge, but only in a nice way.
The number of exotics has grown tremendously in that time and most of our original participants and spectators are still around. We love seeing them every week and we do miss you all in the off season. I will keep writing and it’s nice to see that we get readers all winter long. We’d love to get our projects finished and a few drives posted, even though we don’t officially host drives. We love it when others put something together. We’ll share what looks like fun without handcuffs, unless you’re in to that sort of thing. We’ll see you all on Saturday. Meanwhile I’m still traveling and I’m somewhere outside of Hematoma, WI
