We’re on for Italian Car Day!

Yes, you read that right! We're on for Italian Car Day, one of our biggest and most spectacular special events of the season. It's more exciting than slap fighting. It’s more exciting than a locked bathroom at Chipotle!

In addition to Italian cars, all cars that meet our criteria as defined on our criteria page are still more welcome than Imodium AD inside a stuck elevator. It's one of the best weekends to bring anything that qualifies because there are so many spectators who will want to see your car. We have people fly in just for this event! This is a favorite show all year and a real favorite for us volunteers, so come on out! Come see what Italian car passion is all about. It's looking like it will be a beautiful day too!

We only have one remaining special theme show this season and that’s British Car Day later this season. This is also the time of year to be making two of the best drives in Washington State. One is to lap the Olympic Peninsula, and go counter clockwise, but do it overnight to see it all and to spend time at places like Hurricane Ridge. The other is my favorite- the North Cascade Highway with overnight at Sun Mountain Lodge. This drive is world-class in every respect and if you’ve never done it, it’s well worth the time. If you have done it before, reverse direction and the whole thing looks completely different. It’s like your mate with a new wardrobe rather than that same janky-ass t-shirt you so want to burn.

Our Invisible Show!

Please note that Saturday, July 15th, is our first invisible car show of the season. Every year, we improve on our transparency and make it 20% less visible than the year before. This time, we've made it so you only see normal cars in normal parking stalls, and that took a lot of late-night engineering to get it to look so real. Poke a car with your finger just to see how real it really is! This is where you will see absolutely nothing in our parking lot that morning and maybe some garbage they missed. Just to name some of the amazing cars you won't see: You won't see a Bugatti Vitesse! You're not going to see an Aventador, or that 458 you saw some Gram-gram drive. You won't even see an old Alfa! It's completely amazing and a show you're definitely going to want to miss. We will return to our normal Saturday schedule on July 22nd. See you then!
