It’s Italian Car Day on Saturday!

While this is a busy week for hand and eye surgeons everywhere, we’re getting ready for one of our biggest days all season. Even though there are fewer fingers in the US than there were on Saturday, we’re still excited to point out that this coming Saturday is Italian Car Day! This is one you don’t want to miss on purpose, no matter how bad you got into it at home over what you spent on fireworks.

Yup, once again we take up the whole center section of Redmond Town Center. This is without a doubt one of our really special days where we draw more Ferraris than fat guys to a cookie shop. It is something very fun and festive, and a tiny bit silly. We typically fill up the place. You definitely don’t want to miss this event. Even if your significant other left you for a drummer, cheer up and come out and have some fun.

For those of you driving non-Italian exotic and rare cars, still come out and participate in the celebration. You still get plenty of love. We leave lots of room for you too. We’re all inclusive. We’ve had some incredible stuff already come out this season and for us volunteers, we still see something new every week. I don’t think we’ve ever had a week without a WTF car showing up.

This is always our biggest spectator days and they really appreciate you showing off your rides. Remember some of these people have never seen anything like these cars before.

Bring the kids and show them what happens when you study in school. Introduce them to a politician to show them what happens when you don’t. Come on, you all have socks smarter than them.

We also want to thank Redmond Town Center for their generous donation this season to help offset our expenses. Yeah, we actually do have expenses. What, you think looking this good is free? It was super-helpful to us to us this season and helped us with more shirts, radios, etc. We are now all on the same frequency, event wide, which will speed up our ability to land cars for such large events. Before we had two groups of radios on two different frequencies that couldn’t be matched for some odd reason, so we’d have to relay parking instructions on big event days. Now we’re all on the same page. You won’t hear as much yelling. Thank you Redmond Town Center!

It means a lot when you stick around and shop at RTC. Thank the stores, let them know we appreciate their support. This is a community even put on for free and that little bit of thanks goes a very long way. See you Saturday!
