Invisible Car Day

Saturday, July 18th, no show “invisible car day”

Grazie! Grazie! La Giornata Italiana 2026 è stata incredibile, fantastica e divertente! Sorry, slipped into Italian again, but can you blame me?! Center Court and 164th looked amazing, adorned with the most beautiful examples of automotive beauty you could ask for. Not only that, our normal lot was packed with a host of incredible classic and exotic cars to satisfy all your car-nerding-out needs. Seriously, if you weren’t there, you definitely missed out. We had an Enzo, F40, 212 MM, 57 Alfa Prototype SN 0002, STOs, Diablos, La Ferrari, Daytona, classic Alfas, SP3, the most gorgeous MC20, and the tractor!

OMG!! The Tractor! I hope if you weren’t there, you got to see what we can only describe as the “Crowd Favorite” winner of the day on the interwebs. It was a bit confusing at first when we heard cheering and applause over the roar of the cars leaving center. Wasn’t sure if we overlapped with that colosseum reenactment following us or if we would be explaining to our wives why we allow that kind of behavior at our show. The vision of him rolling through the center, arms raised, standing up while the crowd let out a cheer that would make any World Cup crowd jealous, was the highlight of the day.

I had mentioned in the previous blog that Italian Day is one of our largest spectator days, and we weren’t disappointed; y’all showed up! We truly thank you all for supporting us every week and making big theme days amazing, creating moments like the tractor leaving center. We luv, yes that is l-u-v not l-o-v-e... It’s complicated, y’all so much we are always concerned about your safety at the show. Believe it or not, some of these cars are a bit tricky to drive, and we need to make sure the drivers have clear paths. When we are moving cars, that isn’t the best time to get that family photo or engagement photo in front of the car but it is a great time to get a video of it driving. That being said, the same applies, while we respect the creative effort, a ground-up view from the passenger front isn’t a smart move with a moving car. Please listen to the Thugs when we ask you to move out of the way or stand back so we can continue to keep everyone safe.

Thank you again to all the collectors and enthusiasts who brought their cars out to the show. We can never express our gratitude to all of you for supporting us for 17 seasons and more to come.

There is no show this weekend, so it is what we like to call our “invisible show,” so please don’t show up. I mean you can, but we won’t be there, so it won’t be as cool…just sayin. We will see you on July 25th for our next show.
