Classic and Collector Day is…

…finally here!!! It’s been a few years since we were able to have this special day because of a combination of weather and scheduling conflicts. We’ve moved the group to the highest priority, picking the Saturday when we’d least likely have weather problems that wouldn’t interfere with Monterey car week. It’s also one of our most talked about days and the one that generates the most email.

This is one of my all-time favorite events because so many of these cars have never been seen before by participants, especially those under 20… no 30… no 50… now that I think about it. If you want to do something really fun, show up extra early to watch them roll in. Keep in mind, these cars don’t have power steering, and some can’t sit very long without overheating. I dated someone like that once.

We’ve been getting questions about this special day for months now, so we know it will be a great turnout. Don’t let the rain on Friday scare you off. Saturday will be nice so come on out.

Redmond Town Center also put out a nice video. It’s the one in the upper left. They have done a fantastic job supporting us this season, and it’s important to support them as best you can. All of this is free because of our supporters and volunteers and RTC plays a big role in all of this. See you all Saturday!
