Cadillac
Okay, THIS Saturday is the Cadillac event. I’m sure you’ve heard about it by now. Not only are the two Cadillac Blackwings getting unveiled at E@RTC, but we’ll also have the V-Club members parking their cars in the “horse shoe.” No, there won’t be a horse. You can’t believe some of the mail I get sometimes. People get so confused. No, there won’t be popcorn, but it will still be fun!
The weather is going to be overcast and there is a low chance of rain, but we’re still on no matter what this Saturday, so if you get hit with a drop of rain or two, we’re not calling it off at this point. We’re calling Mom Nature’s bluff. Now, watch it dump like hell because I said that.
Don’t forget that next week is also Classic and Collector car day, which is also one of our best events all year. We’re talking about cars, not dragging your ex around to show off what went wrong in your life.
Many of you have never seen these cars before and they are really special in every way. They all come with great stories, and not like the one about the time you got chased onto a roof. These stories about what it took to make and sustain these amazing machines.
I have huge respect for the Classic and Collector owners. It isn’t like you can just park this somewhere and they are fine. These cars require a lot of care and parts are hard to find and sometimes have to be machined all over again. It’s not like you go to O’Reillys and toss a few numbers over the counter to the pimply nerd who finds it on a shelf. No-no, this stuff has to be sourced and sometimes hunted for in junkyard somewhere and restored to its former beauty. It’s a lot of work!
These folks are really committed to the love of cars and so we encourage you to come out and see for yourself. Again, that’s next week. Trust me, someone will get confused. We should have never legalized pot. Instructions have to be bigger on everything.
