“Cadillac Blackwings to Unveil at Exotics at Redmond Town Center” (No, not this Saturday)
Well, first of all, we’re on for Saturday. The weather is looking very nice. Next week is looking a little sketchy so this is definitely the weekend to come out. Don’t spend next Saturday crying in your pillow because we’re rained out and you painfully miss all of us.
We have something cool coming up! Cadillac, along with the Cadillac V-Club will be unveiling the Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing at our event on Saturday, August 21. For some, just so we’re crystal-clear, that’s not this Saturday, or next. That’s about three weeks away.
Also a big thank you to Cadillac and the V-Club for thinking of us. We love showcasing what’s new! Please come and welcome them to E@RTC.
We’ve also set aside the “horseshoe” as we call it, for the V-Club cars. It’s not an actual horseshoe but it kind of looks like one from 3,200 feet up if you squint and tip your head just right. We do this type of event once in a while for clubs, when we have room. We’ve given them about 50 spots for members. We will reserve space for special clubs from time to time. Our goal is to always keep E@RTC fun and interesting. You will want to come out and see these beauties along with the other V-Club cars.
We had a little confusion over V-Club member registration. There is no registration for our normal participants unless you’re a part of the V-Club and want to park in the horseshoe with the other V-Club members. That V-Club from prom night doesn’t count. (that will bring some mail). As I ponder it, I think a couple of our volunteers are members of the V-Club…never mind.
Normally we’d be taking that Saturday off because of Monterey, but it’s going to be a light event this year. It would be kind of fun to be there and see it with fewer people, but that also means fewer cars too. Lots of cars will remain up here. They will be having fun with us instead.
What’s been weird about the weather this year is that it’s been a month early all year. It’s not like the weather looks at the calendar. It’s been a dry July when August looks like it may be a bit wet in the early part. Remember when it rained through July 4? I just remember soggy burgers.
Thanks for being a part of E@RTC and all the support you give us. It’s fun to see this event continue as long as it has. It says a lot about our car community. See you all on Saturday!
