Awww…Crap!
Remember that time when you were all excited to go to a party, but just before, you lost confidence that your bowels were going to hold their grip? This is sort of how we feel about British Car Day and the weather forecast. We’re keeping both eyes on it as we get closer. One eye wasn’t good enough. We will make the final weather call on Thursday around 3 PM, as we always do, but right now, British Car Day and the Ford event aren’t looking so good.
I can’t remember the last time we were rained out in mid-September. I’m not sure it’s ever happened before. September is always a great month filled with singing and dancing, but apparently not this one. It also looks like it’s going to dump for a while, so this isn’t a one-day thing that will just blow through—like eating at Taco Bell. This could hang on a while… like eating at Chipotle.
Here I thought I was going to be posting about tea and crumpets, and instead, I’m onto the runny roos. Sorry, it’s just one of those days. We’ll catch up on Thursday.
