…we’re rained out for Saturday, June 15. We’ll try again next week. This is more disappointing than sugar-free pudding. That’s like sweet window putty in a cup.
Even though it will be raining, don’t just sit at home and gnaw on your own foot. Get out of the house and go do something. Drive over to sunny Eastern Washington. They could use some friends.
I think it would be funny if a bunch of you all went to enthusiastically test drive the exact same car at a mainstream dealership. Just pick a completely random car at the sleaziest dealership around and all go to see it like it was the only one ever made. You know they would suddenly velvet rope the damn thing and put a new “dealer adjusted price” on a new window sticker for a car nobody really wants and keep it locked all the time. The dealer would be online ordering ten more where they would all sit for the next five months. It would serve them right after what they did during COVID.
We had an excellent German Car Day, and only one blue Ferrari won’t be allowed back and will be turned away upon arrival from now until eternity. People were otherwise well-behaved. It was another great show, and we are grateful to Redmond Town Center and all the volunteers who helped make it happen. We have the best group of volunteers ever!
We do have a lot of drivers gaming the entrance to E@RTC, so we’re watching that closely from now on. We’re going to send you to the back of the line when we see it happen. Be a decent human and just get in line like everyone else. Prove the stereotype and all the stuff people say behind your back wrong. It never fails that it’s someone who wants to be a big shot who shows up with a passenger dressed like a fruity drink.
It’s just car fun on a Saturday morning with friends. This isn’t Monaco.
On the 22nd, it will already be Classic and Collector Day. With us adding one more specialty show, they seem to come around fast. This will be another great weekend with cars in the center and along 164th. You won’t want to miss that ,(unless you paid a dealer adjusted price for a car nobody really wanted.) Then I could see staying home and hiding. Makes perfect sense. We hope to see you next week!
