We’re NOT back…as we thought.
Awww, shark nuts! It’s unbelievable; it’s going to rain again on Saturday. We’re rained out AGAIN! The ONLY rainy day is Saturday! What a weird year! It’s worse then that time you dated that tortoise and wasted your whole summer doing nothing but laying around and eating. This is more disappointing than Prius Day at the track.
We’re off for this Saturday in case I have to spell it out a bit more.
I’m always wondering as I write, would a Fresnoan understand any of this? Does a Fresnoan know they are a Fresnoan? I know where to go to seek fame and fortune! Fresno! No, nobody ever said that. It’s a completely original sentence.
This was a tough call because of conflicting weather reports. All are showing rain, but in varying percentages.
Don’t forget next Saturday, September 10 is British Car Day and the last special event of our season. Our last E@RTC of the season is a couple of weeks after that, but we’re definitely on the home stretch for 2022. Come make some friends before winter sets in and you don’t know who to call to get out of the house. Besides, you need cafe buddies in winter.
We know there are lots of things to do with cars on a Saturday morning, but we hope you start with E@RTC. Pretty soon it’s going to be all the fall festivals around the area. Oktoberfest, beer, brats, corn mazes, heck we made those in college with our stacks of dirty clothes. Harvest festivals with already funky fruit. Oh, I can’t wait.
One of our participants asked if we could do a Jeep day. It’s way easier to consider than a truck day. We’d love all your thoughts on this for next year. There would be lots to work out, such as cutoff, style, condition, etc., but it’s not a bad idea. Please hit is with more suggestions!
We wrap things up in October when it starts to get very cold in the morning on the clear days. This year it’s expected to rain a lot more than usual according to the weather professionals who have been so wrong all season. But, it’s what they are reporting. This is why it’s so hard to know how many Saturdays we have left.
See you all next Saturday we hope. This has been our worst season since we began. Someone got into a tussle with Mom Nature. We just don’t know who it was or what it was about.
