Welcome to our New and Improved Website!

Well, here we are, as promised. We had to recreate our site if we wanted to make improvements in Squarespace 7.1. You couldn’t just upgrade like any other software. Oh, no. This meant if we wanted to make improvements to 7.0, it would later have to be recreated in 7.1. So, we dove on the rope swing over the rusty nail canyon and made the switch. What a time burner, but probably not as bad as your first marriage.

The space is 20% thinner and it’s been wind tunnel tested at over 300 MPH to make sure the pages don’t move. Boeing helped us because they had nothing better to do. We made sure the entire site was peanut safe and nobody was allowed to even look at a photo of a peanut while this was built, let alone eat one.

We’ve gone environmental and only use 100% recycled words. You will also notice the site smells better because we were able to carefully infuse the sent of a delicate Daphne Odora in every page. This was very difficult by itself and it doesn’t always work. Sniff your device and let us know.

We’re expecting to find a few bugs yet. Sort of like that new relationship where you find creepy things in a drawer after you spent a little time with them. Stuff will still be broken so write us if you find an error somewhere. Just let us know. It’s not like you found a finger or anything.

We’ve leaned in a bit more to our irreverence. In this day where it seems like a good laugh is hard to find, we’re going to keep the spirit of having fun front and center. This may upset some, but trust me, if it wasn’t us, they would find something else to be upset about. It’s mostly people who don’t build things that get upset with others who do.

We’ve added a few pages we’ve wanted to add for a long time. Most noticeably, the one about our beloved volunteers who don’t get the full credit they deserve. It’s hard work and they put on a great show. They don't just show up once and call it helping out. They show up again and again and they are the ones who make it great. This page has been long overdue, but pulling over a site with all the content we have it a long drawn-out ordeal.

We will be adding a deeper photo section and archiving all old blog posts somehow. We’ll sort all that out later. This is just the beginning and we have a lot to do if we’re going to have a season at all, which we think we will.
