One More Time..
We are ON for Saturday, Oct 3rd! (9:00AM to 11:00 AM) Gates for Drivers open at 8 AM. This is the last one, and the weather looks good!
That’s right, folks, we are on one more time this year. The Thug Weather Center 1 team has us a little chilly and foggy early, with that golden globe coming through later on. While we are sad it will be our last show of the year on Saturday, Oct. 3rd, 2026, the Thug Weather Team is overly excited and sadly not sad at all. I suppose we understand; they are under a lot of stress throughout the season, and with the looming move to Nakatomi Plaza, thanks to the nasty fallout they had with the creepy old woman in the “business park,” we can give them a pass. We aren’t going to cover all the champagne they are popping, but we can spring for a veggie tray or one of those meat platter things. Yes, it is our last show of the year this weekend, but before we get to that, let’s get a recap of last Saturday.
We sure hope you were at the show last Saturday. If you decided to stay home, hanging on the couch, reliving your childhood eating cereal and watching reruns of Saturday Morning Cartoons, you really missed out! We had some incredible cars show up, making it impossible to answer Noah’s question: What is our favorite car today? To start with, did you see the vintage Porsches, including the 356 Speedster Super 90 Twin Grille on Rudge Wheels? We are all fans of air-cooled Porsches, and having amazing examples like these in the lot just makes us smile…or it’s the fumes; either way, we love them. Quick idea for someone: I don’t know if you are like us, but we believe air-cooled should be a scented candle. The smell of those air-cooled Porsches rolling in is the car-guy equivalent of pumpkin spice... just sayin.’ How about that beautiful Suicide Lincoln laying frame behind the Packard? There is something that just exudes class when these are done right, and this one was done right! Speaking of class and adding a pinch of performance, you get the Techno Violet M3 CS. Yeah, you weren’t seeing things; it is a manual and pretty rare to see in the wild. Not sure if you saw the 918 and Carrera GT? They are pretty subtle and tend to blend in, so totally understand if you missed them...lol IYKYK. In a more colorful example, we had that really cool 620R sporting the Gulf Racing Livery with the Gunther Werk’s 911 lined up right behind…wonder what would happen on the track? Speaking of tracks...well, maybe dirt tracks how about the 944 and that Ariel Nomad Tactical? The Nomad is no joke! We could see the suspension travel as it came to the gate, and it looks like it is just waiting for society's collapse so it can show us what it really can do. Oh...entry easy…exit… embarrassing, if you were wondering. Those Duke Boys made it look easy. Then there was the lineup of the 718 Cayman GT4RS, Blu Pozzi 812 GTS Spyder, and finally the stunning SF90xx. The color on this SF90xx is perfect, and the lighting made the pic we all know you took even better. Such an incredible lineup to have all together. We can never express the appreciation and gratitude we have for all of the collectors and enthusiasts who get out and drive these rolling works of art and performance and support our show every Saturday. A thank you to all of you and our amazing spectators.
Ok now for this weekend, Saturday, Oct. 3rd. That’s right, this Saturday, Oct. 3rd is our final show of the 2026 season. We decided to announce it this year to give y’all a heads-up and plan if you want to get that one last hang in this year. This will just be in the regular lot, but we do plan on making as much room for y’all as possible. In the past, we used to announce the last day, but we stopped due to car guy D-bag behavior, also known as Hooning. We do not tolerate this, and IF we want to make our last day announcement tradition again, we need your help. DON’T BE A D-BAG and ruin it for others. NO REVING, EXHIBITION OF ACCELERATION (spinning tires. You know, being a D-bag). We have mentioned before that our friends at Redmond PD help us out with a presence in the area, so there is more motivation to rep the car culture positively and not D-baggy. We hope you were there when that motorcycle got pulled over. The clapping and cheering from the lot was amazing.
Recap time:
The Thug Weather Center 1 team is celebrating and prepping for the move to Nakatomi in Jan. of 2027, and you will see us launch a GoFundMe for a veggie tray or meat tray for the Weather Team end-of-year party. Last Saturday was a great show, and if you were watching cartoons, you missed out on car-tunes. See what I did there? Yeah, you’re right, not even dad-joke funny. Either way, you missed out. This Saturday, Oct. 3rd is our final show of 2026. Gates open at 8 AM for drivers, and if you want us to continue announcing our final show, no D-bag car-guy behavior. As always, our undying appreciation to every one of you who supports our show every week. Oh, and air-cooled scented candles. Easy Christmas gift for the car guy in your life.
Pro Tip for the GPS: Type in Microsoft Redmond Town Center Building 6, and it will tell you exactly where to turn off Bear Creek and get in line. (72nd Street)
