Hi-dee-ho everybody! That’s right, we are on for this Saturday, Sept. 26th. The Thug Weather Center 1 team is on a streak lately, well, with the weather; their Fantasy picks, on the other hand, are a disaster. The team is forecasting 64° and partly cloudy, with 3% precipitation, so not bad. Might be a bit of a brisk drive for you top-down road warrior types, but the cruise back should be just right. It’s the automotive equivalent of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Speaking of that, and maybe we are riding a little high on the win streak from the Weather team, we have entered our vote for Fat Bear Week. No, this isn’t us guessing which Thug will get the fattest once we end the season; this is all about the brown bears in Alaska. If you haven’t heard of this, it is a poll where you vote on which bear will get the fattest right before hibernation. It is a fun distraction from the noise of the normal day-to-day, just like coming to our show. Ok sorry for the detour; back to car stuff.
Last weekend was our first JDM feature day, and if y’all weren’t there, you missed a great first feature for this genre of cars. The eclectic mix of performance, luxury, and “personality” cars was fun to see, and we will most certainly be doing this one again. We had Evos, NSXs, Skylines, RX7s, Supras, and very clean Silvias, including an S15 all the way from Canada. We are so excited that the V-Spec GTRs are finally legal in the US and were thrilled to see them at the gate. Y’all are always welcome, and we hope to see more in the future. Did y’all see that crazy LS-swapped FD perfectly placed next to the Toyota Starlet Turbo? While the RX7 was bonkers, the Starlet brought back memories of playing Gran Turismo and totally running this car with that livery. I guess life really imitates art sometimes. We had Mark IV Supras, and for those that were there, we know y’all saw the Top Secret Supra on the end cap of the horseshoe. While not a real Top Secret Supra, it was a great build and nod to Smokey Nagata and his legendary Supras. FYI, a few have made their way to the US and are living in Florida. We think a corner-to-corner drive is in order; if you know the owners, hit them up for us... just sayin'. Not only do you have the straight performance cars; there are the luxury performance cars like the Lexus LC 500, ISF, Toyota Aristo V300 Vertix, Toyota Century, Grand Tourer, and Nissan President, to name a few. That President was a great-looking car, and we love that y’all had the lace covers on the headrest and seats. Who doesn’t love a Kei car? We had an Autozam AZ-1 there with its doors in the air, and how about the Daihatsu Move? This was the little white “van” next to the STI-powered VW Beetle- yes, you read that right, an STI-powered Beetle. The funny thing is, it made the Bug look huge... lol. It was a fun feature, and the drivers and enthusiasts were a blast to hang out with. Y’all know your stuff about your cars, and your love, passion, and desire to preserve and drive these cars is infectious. Thank you for coming out and doing a fantastic job of repping JDM.
JDM may have been the feature in the horseshoe, but as you regulars know, we had all sorts of incredible Exotics and classics on hand. We had vintage and new Rolls-Royces, Astons, BMWs, Mercs, Jags, and enough classic American muscle we were going to change the row name to Muscle Beach. We had a 918, Carrera GT, GT RSs, and a full stable of Italian Stallions sharing row 2 with a Schnitzel of Porsches? Not sure what to call a group of Porsches; however, we just recently learned that a group of pandas is called an embarrassment. Apparently someone doesn’t like pandas…who knew. With the season winding down as we near our wonderful wet season in the PNW, we will all soon be jonesing for the sights, smells, sounds, and fun of hanging out with y’all. Speaking of that…
We have decided, with the help of Mother Nature, that Saturday, Oct 3rd will be our final show of the season, weather permitting, as always. Don’t panic; this isn’t a hard date per se. If the weather doesn’t work out, we will push until we do get a good day so we can go out on a high note and not a whimper. Stay tuned to our socials and the blog for updates on our final show and that last opportunity to hang out with some of the best collectors, enthusiasts, cars, and all-around greatest humans we get the privilege of hosting every Saturday.

We are on for this Saturday, Sept 26th; gates open at 8 AM for drivers- be there or be square. Our inaugural JDM theme day was fun as heck, and we had a great time hanging out with y’all and increasing our knowledge of JDM. You never know what will show up, and if you weren’t there, you missed some amazing exotics and classics. Someone really hates pandas, and “a Schnitzel” is now the official term for a group of Porsches or any German cars, really. Saturday, Oct 3rd is our last day, unless Mother Nature tries to renegotiate; then we will move the date. As always, y’all have our undying appreciation for supporting our show, whether you are bringing out your amazing ride or just walking the aisles taking it all in. Thank you!

Quick reminder and FYI for any first-timers to our show. The gate entrance is on 72nd Street. Pro Tip for the GPS: Type in Microsoft Redmond Town Center Building 6, and it will tell you exactly where to turn off Bear Creek and get in line.
