It’s Shocking But…

Our primary corner.

…we are on for another exciting day at E@RTC! The weather will be very nice this coming Saturday. The event takes place in our usual corner unless we say something. This is like when your fly is down. We’d tell you. No, we’d wait and tell everyone else first, then we’d tell you.

Our next special car event will be German Car Day, which is the following week. That means June 14. It’s always a sausage fest. Watch how many people write us who are completely confused. Everything you ever wanted to know about E@RTC, including plenty of overshare, is here on our website. You just need to know where to look.

We got a small bit of mail about car criteria after the Turn 10 event. No, we did not lower our standards for our show. That was Turn 10, who decided what they allowed in the horseshoe. We will resume our normal criteria this coming Saturday, and we’ll watch it in the future. We do appreciate the feedback and your desire to hold the line on the quality of our show. This was a one-time thing, so there isn’t anything to resolve.

We will use Center Court for German Car Day, and we have to say it over and over—like talking to your spouse—that all car nationalities are welcome as usual, except that German cars get the center and side streets. The car criteria remain. We will get overwhelmed with mail, so just be patient if we don’t get to you right away.

A lot of you will stay at the Archer Hotel the night before German Car Day and have a good time getting poop-faced, so get your reservation now. You get special pricing! You don’t have to drive far the next morning, but you do need to get in line. Once you’re parked, you can go back to bed for a bit, or—dare we say—play hide the sausage until nine. That should bring some mail. Come on, it was funny.
