It’s Kenworth Day!

Once again, Kenworth will be joining us at E@RTC this Saturday, July 26 from 9–11 AM. This year they will be showcasing three trucks: Kenworth had to make a swicharoo and will bring a bright pink T680 (diesel), W990 (Diesel) and a T880E (electric).  The W900L legacy edition got waylaid in Fresno. Everyone is waylaid in Fresno. Kenworth’s Class 8 battery electric lineup includes both an on-highway-focused T680E and the T880E vocational leader—which is the first Class 8 BEV work truck on the market. Lastly, the T680 is The Driver’s Truck, focused on providing a full suite of amenities for long, cross-country hauls.

As a lot of you know, we’ve always supported all automotive and truck manufacturers and love to showcase the latest. We’ve been doing this event with Paccar for years as trucks were available, and for many, it’s the first time to actually sit inside these babies! You may love it so much it may even truck you up a little.

We’ll have the trucks over in the horseshoe, same as usual, right there on the corner. We’ll park cars around them, making the three trucks look like the kings they are.

We had another wonderful Italian day—yes, an Alfa and a Ferrari are banned for life. We’re sending them to Fresno for a day. It was a great time with another fantastic turnout.

Next week, August 2nd, is Retro Car Day and probably one of the most fun days we have all year. It’s a chance to dress in your favorite ’80s–’90s garb and come on out. We only relax our car criteria just slightly for those cars that fit the theme. No, just because your car was built in those decades doesn’t qualify it, but we will make allowances for something really special. Just write us. No, backwards flames on a Pinto won’t do. Think pop-up headlights. On the cars too. Don’t you miss tube tops? No? Worst invention ever.
