I can’t believe this but…

We're on for German Car Day! That's this Saturday, May 27, for those of you who need a little help with specifics. It's from 9-11 AM for those who need a little more help. Get there early if you're bringing a car. There will be a line, but we’re doubling it up again so it should go fast.

So, what does German Car Day actually mean? This is when we dial up E@RTC to 11 and showcase fantastic examples of German exotic and rare cars in the center of Redmond Town Center and down 164th to our main lots. All car nationalities are still welcome, of course. Even those from Fresnovia!

Did you know that if you Google "Made in Fresno", what comes back are "Arrests made in Fresno"?

This is one of those special days when a giant crowd comes out and we get a million emails, trying to distinguish one model Porsche from another to decipher our criteria. We answer every email we get, so just be patient as we get through those who didn't see the criteria page or have questions. Here it is again in case you were reading too fast. We don't mind answering at all, unless it's another email offering to improve our website, showing us how to grow hair somewhere, or selling us something that hums.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never had a day where I felt like a good face massager would do the trick… Ohhhhhh…

Yes, the show is free! We always make it up in volume.

This is a very popular event, so come early, stay late, hang out at RTC all day. Just remember, we have a lot of cars to move at 11, when it’s all over, so be sure to be back at your car before 11, so we can get the parking lot looking normal for shoppers. You don't have to leave RTC, but you do have to park between the lines like a normal person. You don't want to make the cover of "Marginal Human" once again. The same goes with bicyclists and scooters that try to come through. Please don't come in with those things, and we hate to ask anyone to leave. So just don't.

Bikes and scooters have never been a historical problem, so we don't know why we had so many last week. We are protective of the cars at the show, so we will say something if we see you.

You'll also notice that we frown upon people setting up camp around their cars like they do at some other shows. What we've observed from other events is that it keeps people away from your car, and it doesn't invite discussion. People will walk right by you, not wanting to intrude on the imaginary space you've created like a shitty mime. Come out and mingle, make a friend. We all could use a few friends. You weren’t happy with that swamp donkey anyway.
