…it looks like we’re rained out for Saturday, May 3. Yeah, this is more disappointing than your turn-down at Prom, but you recovered. I’ll bet you still have that little stuffed moose you were going to give her too. We will reschedule the Forza event for Saturday, May 31st, should we be back on that day. We were looking forward to the event, so let’s hope May 31st is a good one — nice and summer-roasty too.
Why is it that it seems like every season someone opens a box and some Fresnoan pimple-farmer shows up at E@RTC in a marginally qualified car, then decides the lot rules don’t apply to them, even after we say the rule more than once? No, you can’t blast your RadioShack car stereo for everyone. They disrespect the event, and besides, two things that don’t blend well together are disrespect of the event and the Thugs.
Playing a stereo during the show not authorized by the mall goes against mall rules, and it’s like walking your poop-shoe into someone else’s house party. It’s one of those things where it seems like such common sense, like no Taco Bell before boarding a crowded flight, or parachuting, or reminding someone to flush. Some people are just born with the mental awareness and room-reading skills of a radish. We love it when new people come out and join us. We welcome you with open arms, but don’t return the hug with smelly pits. We don’t like it when people show up and fuck up the entire Feng Shui.
We’ll try again next Saturday and hope Mom Nature is happy with us and wants to see cars. She can be kind of a bee-itch this time of year.
