Our Supporters

I’m not talking about jockstraps and bras either. I’m talking about those who participate and spectate who pitch in. As I was about to write this, I was thinking, there are some things you just don’t appreciate until you are old. Community is one. Underwear is another.

It looks like we did a good job of calling it when we did. The weather forecast shows nothing but rain ahead from now until someone builds an ark.

If you’re planning to show up on Saturday, don’t. Next Saturday, don’t. Same with about the next twenty or so. You can come out and shop and that would be good for Redmond Town Center.

Don’t worry, the time passes quickly. Rather than get the car ready you can get up and make soup. April 1 will be here soon enough. Maybe it’s time to try that cleanse you were reading about. It’s not like you have to leave the house. A week at Taco Bell may do the same thing and it’s cheaper.

We have a lot of people who have been generous to our volunteers this year and bought them coffee or snacks and we never get the opportunity to thank all of them. Even our meeting space is provided by one of our participants and we are extremely grateful for their support all these years. Thanks Bruce!

We hear stories about people who are doing things at E@RTC and there is one we thought you should know about. One of our big car fans, a boy named Chingun who finds the toy car that matches the cars he sees at E@RTC then gives them to the owner. Here are a few pictures. This is such a great idea and a way for Chingun to get a conversation started with the owners. Thanks Chingun for being a part of the community.

This is what makes E@RTC so special and one of the best community events found anywhere. The amount of money you spend in Redmond is also a big help in sustaining some of the great small businesses around the area. Our giving back is an important part the health of our community and we also create a great reputation for exotic car owners.

Unlike other companies that have a commercial mission, our website was not intended to build traffic on its own. It’s there for participants and spectators and our own amusement and we do nothing to drive traffic to our site. We don’t have the time to do much else other than keep it updated and improve it over the winter months, so it’s all if you who participate who drive our website numbers.

We have no way of knowing just how many people attend E@RTC every Saturday because they are moving around the cars, there is turnover, and people scatter around the mall. We can only guess that total attendance is somewhere between 20,000 to 25,000 people each season. We doubt if we hit 30,000, but we don’t know for sure. We think it’s about four to one now for cars and people, but we really don’t know.

What we do have are website stats to share and here are a few numbers.

  • Website visits year to date, 91,234 which is up 24% year over year.

  • Traffic came from 84 countries.

  • Unique visitors, year to date, 61,000, which is also up 29% year over year.

  • Surprisingly 1,552 of of those website visitors are from Florida.

  • 41,685 head straight to the blog while 65,244 start with the home page.

  • 18,177 come through our Facebook page to read the blog.

  • 4,514 come to us through Instagram.

  • We didn’t get a single visitor from Fresno this year.

That about sums up our data. If there is anything you’d like to learn about what we do, just add a comment or write us. We’ll get you an answer.
