Our regular lots!
…on for E@RTC this Saturday April 18! It's also Jason B's birthday so feel free to call him anytime after midnight and wish him a wonderful birthday. While no longer a Thug in practice, he will always be a huge part of the family. I hope he does something really fun like going rock climbing or parachuting. Someone just reminded me that you only need a chute if you plan to do it twice. I never thought of that before but it's a good point.
During our regular days in the corner lot, we still use the same entrance off Bear Creek that we did on opening day, except we're not using the center of the mall. We're instead all parked in the corner over by BJ's.
When we've had a Saturday off, like we did the week after opening day, there is usually a big turnout and the weather will be nice. It will be cloudy, but that makes it great for the photographers. The cars look amazing in diffused light. Some of you look even more amazing in no light…
Once again, as a reminder, if you plan to leave early, let us know and we'll put you at the very end of the lot. Few people will see you leave and we keep more people happy. The show is always about balancing a lot of interests and safety is always at the top of the list. That, and laughing at something.
We will be using the corner "horse shoe" as we call it for special mini events this season. This doesn't give that corner any special ground, but it does give us the room to organize it a bit. No horse ever lived there that we know of and we never bounced a horse shoe off anyone in that spot. It’s just what it looks like from the air.
