It’s Going to Be…
…soup on Saturday, so no E@RTC for May 17, 2025. This means you can stay in bed and snuggle with the cat or that special someone in your life. Maybe a grandparent. We won’t judge.
This is all common weather this time of year. It’s Pacific Northwest Rain Roulette. It’s when we’re all eager to get out on a drive, then think about cleaning the car when we get back—and decide to just leave it. We’re too lazy to clean it again.
These are the days to head over to sunny Eastern Washington for a burger or do a rainy drive out to the coast while few people are there. Just don’t go driving on the sand unless you have the right rig. With fewer people around, the surf could be up to your dangling air freshener before a tow truck comes along. That air freshener will never be powerful enough again. Those things are only good for a drive home from Taco Bell. You get a little sea water to come in and you will never get that faint dead seal smell out. Ever.
There are lots of great restaurants in surrounding small towns in the Pacific Northwest, so venture there on a rainy day. Or, stay home and watch old Leave It to Beaver reruns. No, not that beaver.
Paccar will be bringing EVs this year. We’re looking at July 26 as a tentative date, so watch our calendar. We also have other surprises that are still in the works. SSC is bringing something special. As I said before, we’ve received lots of mail from people planning to bring out something you’ve never seen before, so stay tuned!
